Your Roof and COVID-19

Social DistancingFirst, I want to reiterate what I shared with our customers by email. The health and safety of our customers and crews remain paramount. And, like many small businesses in Frisco, we want to reassure you that we are ready to meet your needs while adhering to current guidelines. For example, we added online payment to our website to eliminate physical credit card handling.

If you need a roof repair or roof replacement, we can still help, you don’t have to wait.

Don’t risk waiting to do repairs

I may sound like a broken record but leaving roof damage unattended easily results in more costly repairs later. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen basic roof leaks or failed flashings turn into extensive mold remediation, insulation replacement, and even structural damage. So many of them being avoidable if the owners addressed a small leak immediately, requested an inspection or had a roof tune-up. To make things worse, labor and material costs continue to rise so delaying repairs inevitably results in higher costs overall.

COVID-19 safety measures

So exactly what additional safety measures is Peak taking during this time?

  • No face-to-face meetings required – Although we normally love meeting with customers directly, it’s part of the job we like the most, we’re now doing inspection reviews and follow-up by phone and email.
  • Paperless transactions – You can sign and then return your contracts or paperwork by email.
  • Physical distancing – For a majority of what we do, we are already spaced at a safe distance. For example, when you see roofers working in your neighborhood, they have naturally spread apart while working on a roof for other safety reasons. As a result, it’s already part of our crews’ mindset to keep a safe distance.
  • Compliance CDC guidelines – We are often complimented on the steps we already take, above OSHA standards, to keep our crews safe. We are also working with our team to ensure they stay home if they feel ill and are taking extra measures to clean and disinfect their tools, work attire, personal protection equipment (PPE), and other equipment and gear.

Financing available

If you are a homeowner and business owner that prefers to keep your cash-on-hand right now, financing a roof replacement or repair allows you to pay in installments. The application and approval process is straightforward and done online. Financing can cover the deductible, the full cost of a roof replacement, or any other needed exterior services like gutters, fencing, and window replacements.

While taking care of yourself and the loved ones around you, you don’t have to neglect the financial investment in your home or business. Call us. A free inspection may be all it takes to provide reassurance that your home is ready for this year’s storms.
