What I love about America
Fireworks, homemade ice cream, sweet watermelon (without seeds), and the Plano Fourth of July parade…I love them all. And topping my list of things I treasure is our freedom.
The freedom to choose where we live
We love living and working in Denton County and Collin County. And, not to get too overly emotional but we are absolutely blessed to live in this area. Or “blessed a-plenty” as my friend’s grandmother says.
Over 10 years ago, Jeff and I were young, ambitious with tons of energy and big dreams. We had the freedom to start our business anywhere, but we chose Frisco. It just felt like home. Of course, back then the traffic was less and there were only 36,000 residents (compared to the estimated 177,000 today). But there were lots of friendly people and the Snow Cone Lady. The freedom to pursue our dreams
Since I’m sharing my appreciation for the freedom we’re celebrating today, another thing we take for granted is our freedom to choose what we do for a living. I’ll be honest, when I was teaching school, I never thought I would be Vice President of Peak Roofing & Construction. But I love my job! Our crews are like family. When we get together, we have so much fun. It’s a joy to come to work and we have the most amazing, professional team around. We also have the best customers of any company in Frisco, McKinney and all of DFW!
We live in a wonderful country. Today, our team is spending quality time with their families but we’ll be back tomorrow, ready to help our neighbors and local businesses with roofing and exterior services. Call us and let us know what we can do to assist you.

Joey Riss
Joey is Peak Roofing & Construction’s “renaissance woman”. She is involved in all aspects of the business decision making as well as her office responsibilities and overseeing much of the marketing efforts. Although she lets Jeff climb the roofs, Joey has a thorough understanding of roofing, gutters, windows, fences and exterior painting. When not in the office you will find her focused on her favorite career, raising their precious son.
