Peak Wins Frisco Chamber’s Presidents Award
You know it’s something special when Jeff trades in his Peak baseball cap and golf shirt for coat and slacks. So, when we found out we were a finalist for a Frisco Chamber of Commerce annual award, we knew it was going to be a special night, and it was. Peak Roofing & Construction was a co-award winner of the Frisco Chamber’s Presidents Award.
Among the wonderful remarks from Tony Felker, President and CEO, for the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, he talked at length about Peak’s involvement and commitment to giving back to the community as well as how even competitors can work together in “co-opition” to do good things.
Each year, the Frisco Chamber of Commerce holds the annual Frisco Number Ones Gala and this year they celebrated their 50th year. An intimate group of over 600 Frisco business leaders gathered for a night of fun, networking, and awards. The awards consisted of business awards, voted on by a committee, and the special Presidents award from the Frisco Chamber President.
Jeff and I love Frisco and all of North Texas. And, although I loved living in Dallas and Plano before I married Jeff, when it came time pick a place to base our business and where to raise our family, Frisco felt right. We’ve been living and “doing life” in Frisco since 2001 and definitely consider it home.
The award means a lot to Jeff and me as well as to all the members of the Peak family that participate in our community outreach activities. From golf tournaments, to serving drinks, and building homes, our team loves giving back. We appreciate the support of our new and long-term, loyal customers that help our business grow and fuel our ability stay involved in this amazing community.

Joey Riss
Joey is Peak Roofing & Construction’s “renaissance woman”. She is involved in all aspects of the business decision making as well as her office responsibilities and overseeing much of the marketing efforts. Although she lets Jeff climb the roofs, Joey has a thorough understanding of roofing, gutters, windows, fences and exterior painting. When not in the office you will find her focused on her favorite career, raising their precious son.
