Peak Roofing Basics: Preparing for Spring

Categories: Storm Damage

New siding takes research. Many of us have great expectations preparing for spring. My list is full of honey-do projects for Jeff, spring cleaning, and the dreaded yard work. With the unpredictable storm season we have in the Dallas and Fort Worth area, Peak Roofing and Construction’s spring planning starts in December and January.

Starting early

Having lived in Texas for a decade, we learned not to rely on traditional weather patterns. It is not unheard of to have hail storms in December, heavy rainfall in January and an occasional ice storm in February. As a result, it’s important to stay ready for emergency roofing projects year-around.

The basic preparation

Winter is usually our slower season. We take this opportunity to work with our vendors on getting the latest product updates, training, and updating our design center (where we keep samples of the current product options.) It also is the best time for our crews to enjoy some time off. However, whenever the possibility of a major storm arises, our project managers and sales teams are prepared to be immediately dispatched to help families in need. We are so blessed to have such a dedicated team of professionals.

It is the attention to every detail that sets Peak Roofing apart from the competition. For instance, in December there were massive orders of blue tarps and underlayment made so there is no shortage of material if the need arises.

Our goal is to offer the best customer service possible. Regardless, if you live in Arlington, The Colony, Frisco, Allen or Plano, we have teams based around the Metroplex ready to assist. Give us a call today and schedule your free inspection.
