What is “HAAG Certified”

HAAG certification means the roofing professional has completed courses and testing to learn, and then demonstrate their understanding of how to inspect and identify damage on residential and/or commercial roofs. The courses, designed by practicing forensic engineers, cover all major residential (steep-slope) roofs and commercial roofing materials as well. Some of the things covered include:

• How hail and wind interact with roofing
• Inspection safety techniques
• Installation, weathering, hail/wind damage, and mechanical damage
• Best approaches to determine repair costs

HAAG certification demonstrates that a roofing professional has gone far beyond normal standards of industry training and then taken the extra step of becoming certified.
