Christmas Fun in Frisco, TX
Christmas is just around the corner, and Frisco is the place to be! December is almost over, but there is still plenty of winter fun to be had. Below are a few festive and fun things to do here in Frisco, so have some fun before it’s too late!
Christmas in the Square
North Texas’ largest choreographed holiday light and music show are right here in Frisco! Presented by Frisco Square Property Owners Association, the event brings in over a half million visitors every year. Huge snow machines let loose their flurries every fifteen minutes on Fridays and Saturdays, covering all the sidewalks in snow throughout Frisco Square. The fun started on November 27 but stays open all the way until January 2 next year. With nearly 200,000 lights, 20 miles of wiring and extension cords, this is sure to be a holiday extravaganza you won’t soon forget!
Winter Wonderland Skating
The Dr. Pepper Star Center hosts the Winter Wonderland Skating event until the 30th of December. Enjoy skating on the ice surrounded by a magical ‘Winter Wonderland’ and the spirit of Christmas itself. Look on the official website for a list of skating times. Even Santa Clause comes to town and hits the ice in Frisco! Grab those skates and come ‘Skate with Santa’ at the Center as well. Only a few more days before he leaves on the 23rd to get ready for his deliveries! Fun games, music, and pictures with the big guy himself! More details here.
